Delivering Cooked Meals and Clean Water
Since October 7th, the conflict in Gaza has claimed over 43,500 Palestinian lives, including 16,765 children. More than 102,680 individuals have been injured, with many still trapped beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings. Gaza’s infrastructure is on the brink of total collapse, as homes, schools, and hospitals have been decimated, leaving over half of the region’s homes either damaged or destroyed.
The healthcare system is struggling under immense pressure, with hospitals barely functioning due to severe shortages of supplies, electricity, and water. Food and clean water remain critically scarce, leaving families without the essentials needed for survival. The destruction extends to commercial areas, schools, roads, and farmland, with large parts of Gaza’s population displaced and living in overcrowded shelters or temporary tents.
Mission Salaam has been actively working to address these dire needs. During Ramadan and the months that followed, we provided meals and access to clean water to countless families in Gaza. Additionally, MS has been sending vital medical aid through our trusted partners, ensuring that assistance reaches those suffering under the collapsing healthcare system. This support has been a lifeline for refugees inside Gaza, who face an overwhelming lack of food, clean water, and medical care.
We urge our donors to continue their generous support. This aid is not only critical for immediate survival but also provides hope for those enduring unimaginable hardships. Your contributions are making a difference, helping the people of Gaza withstand this unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
